Proclad Group has strengthened its sales efforts with the appointment of Gregor Burt as its new Business Development Manager as it looks to build on its total value engineering solutions.
Gregor brings a wealth of hands-on and technical experience to the role having qualified as a welder and fabricator before moving into the sales and estimating side of the business where he has held a number of management roles within UK based companies.
The role will see Gregor assume responsibility for developing relationships with Proclad’s existing client base, however, his core focus will be on promoting the Group’s comprehensive range of solutions to a broad range of sectors being targeted in the group’s diversification strategy.
Proclad Group’s Sales Director, Derek Shepherd, explained, “Whilst each of our specialist companies are responsible for developing their own sales, we have seen a real surge in global demand from sectors such as the Nuclear, Aerospace and Petro-chemical industries for our Total Value Engineering solutions.”
He continued, “Gregor will work closely with me to develop our presence in these sectors, promoting all of the services and solutions offered by the Proclad Group together with the enormous benefits this can bring to clients.”
